Galaxy Transformer’s China factory has the ability to provide high quality Custom Ignition Coils and Ignition Transformers typically used in applications that require high volt sources. An Ignition Coil, also generally referred to as a “spark coil” is a form of autoformer used to produce a high voltage pulse, a spark, from a low voltage DC supply. In a motor, a type of induction coil is required by spark plugs to provide the energy to start an engine. AKA a “self inductor coil”, an Ignition Coil is used to increase the spark in electric gas lighting products.

All Ignition Coils, due to the high volts they carry, are encapsulated in a high quality plastic and filled with an epoxy resin. While Ignition Coils are not difficult to make, adhering to strict quality control is extremely important.

Typical applications using our Ignition Coils are HVAC equipment including boilers, swimming pool heaters and sauna heaters; dental and medical equipment, commercial ovens.
