Our new blog is meant to keep our customers, vendors, and friends up to date with life out here in the Galaxy. Please use this section of our site to check out our latest developments, opportunities, and company updates.

With the first fiscal quarter in the books, Galaxy has retained our trend of growth thanks to our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and dependable vendors. It has been a continued story at Galaxy, with each quarter being greater than the last. Opportunities continue to present themselves, both with new customers and within our current customer-base. Already April, this year we’ve made several improvements to our facility in West Berlin, NJ. To increase communication, we’ve re-organized our office floor plan for better cross-communication between our sales, engineer, and accounting teams. We hope this allows us to increase productivity and have all departments working closely together on projects. These improvements opened up space for us to upgrade the factory’s lunch-room; so our employees can enjoy their hard-earned breaks. We’ve also invested in our production line by purchasing a new oven. We hope the addition will help remove a bottleneck during the baking stage of production; allowing us to increase productivity and look to improve other sections of our production process.

While a large portion of our business is done at our factories overseas, we continue to emphasize the importance of having a domestic presence. We’re constantly looking to improve our local facilities to match oversea production and quality as an internal second source for customers who need quick turnarounds. If and when manufacturing comes back to the US, we will be ready!
