Jim Curry graduated (barely) from Rutgers University , NJ in 1979 with a BA in Business Administration. Those who know him realize he only went to college for wrestling- well, that was the main reason! Jim started his career at Magnetic Metals and eventually worked his way into sales. He got the nickname "Crash" during his tenure at Magnetic Metals when he totaled 3 cars in 1 1/2 years. (Nobody said he was a good driver!) He went to work at Tempel Steel  where for 17+ years he worked hard  and diligent  to  satisfy his customers as well as his employer. After numerous promotions, Jim eventually made a choice to begin his own business. As he looks back, Jim said it was one of the best decisions he ever made. Jim's daily duties include overseeing the sales effort for Galaxy as well as the purchasing. Jim's pride and joy are his 3 tremendous kids. When not working, you'll find Jim on a soccer pitch somewhere or backstage hobnobbing with some old time rocknrollers.

Ken Burns is a graduate of Washington University of St. Louis with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduating from Washington University, Ken entered the USNR as an officer. After spending many nights on the sea, and even more in foreign ports, Ken eventually left the Navy and decided to pursue yet another career- Law. Ken continued his education and eventually graduated from Rutgers University Law School with a Law Degree. After passing the bar in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Ken decided sunny Florida was the place to be. He moved to Miami where he proceeded to learn the transformer business.    Today, Ken who is also known as "Forest Gump" for obvious reasons, is the General Manager of Galaxy. He's the brain behind the operation! His main focus is ensuring customer orders are produced on time and in a quality fashion. When he's not working, Ken is normally spending his time with his nieces and nephews.

In closing, while these two fellows are as different as Felix and  Oscar of The Odd Couple fame, they  both strive to achieve one goal and it has become the company philosophy:

"Treat all customers the way you'd want to be treated; always give them the best price possible, the quickest turnaround, and the best quality possible and always remember:

the better your customer does, the better you all do!"
